I am a dedicated Positive Reinforcement dog trainer, Certified Professional Dog Trainer, CCPT-KA, Control Unleashed Certified Instructor CCUI, Fear Free Force Free certified, and an evaluator for the AKC Good Citizens program. I belong to the Association Professional Dog Trainers, Pet Professional Guild, Alliance of Force Free Animal Professionals, Control Unleashed Certified Instructor and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.

About Me
Your training sessions are private so each one is designed around you and your dog. Each session done weekly is 60-90 minutes long. I work with your dog to show you the skills then have you work with your dog and coach you. All sessions have video how too; s and written step by step directions. You will wonder why you waited until now. I look forward to working with you and your pup.

I spent a decade training as a K9 Handler in Search and Rescue. I have been a member of California Rescue Dog Association, Monterey County Search & Rescue Dogs, Santa Clara County Search & Rescue. Since leaving Search & Rescue in 2015 I have been helping Families gain the skills on how to have a happy healthy BestDoGEver relationship.

Basic Manners and Intermediate Obedience

Basic manners teach the dog the foundational skills needed to live in the human household like listening skills, four on the floor, chewing inappropriate items, walking on a leash, appropriate barking, house training, crate training and more.

Foundation Skills

This 4-week package is ideal, teaching the basics through games and mat work. All things "dog" come from this foundation work. it teaches the dog patience, impulse control and cooperation.

Science based training -What does CPDT-KA mean? Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed is awarded to a person who has passed an exam sponsored by the Council for the Certification of Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) and is a certified positive reinforcement trainer. The CCPDT was started in 1999 to create a baseline of knowledge that could be measured and used as a regulatory organization in an otherwise unregulated profession.
CCUI Control Unleashed Certified Instructor. This was a mentorship program evaluating my skill level in Leslie McDeVitt’s Pattern Games. We are building confidence in your dog using Pattern Games making your training session fun effective and sets you and dog up for success.
I am also a member of The Association of Professional Dog Trainers , International Association of Canine Professionals and IAABC. So why does that matter? Those are the associations where I go for continuing education units, and exposure to the highly acclaimed experts in our profession.
